WordPress developer with knowledge of WordPress/WooCommerce theme functions & hierarchy.
You’ll be building websites using WordPress & premium themes/plugins (most of the time).
But having PHP skills is necessary along with HTML, CSS, basic jquery/javascript. You should be able to integrate various plugins & 3rd party tools according to each project requirement.
You need to have knowledge of how WordPress hierarchy & its operations work behind the scenes (backend). Ex: custom post types, custom fields, taxonomies, page templates etc.
- Managing projects ( from receiving to final delivery)
- Maintaining clients websites (ex: adding new features, customizations, changes issues)
- Assigning necessary tasks to the design & assistant developer team
- Quality control: maintaining standard web development practices; like how elements such as photos, graphics, their sizes were used on pages, page responsiveness, user experience on the site etc.
- Shortly, From receiving a project to successfully deliver with quality. You’ll be managing every part of it.
In general, understanding client/project requirements. In some cases, suggesting the right services (software/tools) to clients from our offered solutions according to their needs.
Most of the cases, your assistant developer team will be developing projects & you will be leading/helping them if any issues arise.
- Php, html, css, jquery/javascript libraries integration.
- Good grasp on WordPress & WooCommerce hierarchy, functions, filters & hooks
- And of course, uses of premium themes & plugins
We understand it’s not possible to know the exact workflow of every theme & plugins.
But if you’ve got a standard level of development skill, implementing plugins & 3rd party tools shouldn’t be hard for you as those will mostly not require core coding.

Job Location: Mirpur 1, Dhaka
Wage: 20,000tk/Monthly + Commission/per project. The commission will start after 6 months of the provision period.
